Measuring For Flat Window Blinds

Windows come in all shapes and sizes. If you are unsure how to measure your windows (we’re all human), or want to double check, send us a picture of your window on Live Chat or to info@stitched.co.uk

Blinds can be fitted inside a recess or outside it.

Blinds Inside Recesses

You will need:

  • a metal tape measure
  • a pen or pencil
  • a piece of paper

01 Width

Measure (wall-to-wall) inside the recess in three places. Take the narrowest width. Beware of tiling or skirting which can stop you from lowering the blind
