Between 7-21 days, depending on the style, fabric and features that you choose for your curtains and blinds. As soon as our workshop confirms the making times with us, we will confirm with you the expected dispatch date of your order via email.

Choosing a curtain or blind doesn’t have to be daunting experience. If you already know what you are looking for, you can get designing on the Product Builder. If you still need some inspiration, take a look at our instagram or Pinterest pages. We’ve posted and pinned images that we think are hot and on trend.
If you need any help making your dream design come true on the Product Builder, we are here to help. You can either contact us on our Web Chat or send an email to [email protected] You can even send us a photo of your room/window, with some of your style preferences (e.g. traditional, classic, modern etc.) and your colour scheme. Our small (but perfectly formed) design team will come up with some design ideas and ping them back to you in a day or two.

We also have some super simple step-by-step measuring guides will make measuring any style of window quick and easy, so you can concentrate on the fun bit… designing your perfect curtains and blinds! The measuring guides are available from the Home Page and from the Product Builder.
Orders are placed online. Simply design your perfect curtains and blinds using our product builder and add your designs to your basket or save them.
If you are dressing multiple windows of the same size, you can duplicate items in your basket and saved designs, and edit the duplicated order, or simply design afresh. Let us know if you need help, we're available on our Web Chat.

Yes - like with any purchase made in the UK, VAT will be added to all orders made through our website. For orders made by customers located outside the UK, additional taxes or customs duties may be applicable. If you are ordering curtains and blinds for delivery outside the UK, please double check whether additional taxes or duties are payable to avoid any surprises when you receive your curtains and blinds
You will receive an email from the Stitched Team as soon as our workshop confirms the making time with us. This is normally a few days after your initial order.
All Stitched curtains and blinds are made-to-measure in our UK workshop according to the designs, styles and measurements provided by you. This means your beautifully designed curtains and blinds are unique, and will only fit your window. So sadly we can’t accept returns.
It is very important that you closely follow our measuring guides, double check your measurements and your order confirmation email from us. Although all orders are processed automatically, if you spot a problem with your order confirmation please contact us straight away; we may be able to stop work on your curtains and blinds before its too late.
It depends on what you order…
Roman and roller blinds will be supplied with all of the components that you will need to install them (including screws, rawl plugs, brackets and chains).
Curtains will be supplied with hooks.
Poles can be added whilst you are selecting your curtain choices. Poles will arrive with rings, brackets, screws and rawl plugs. Because every customer is different, you may want to trim your pole down to the perfect size for your windows, so make sure you have a hacksaw. We’ll send out instructions on how to do this with your poles.
To install your curtains and blinds, you will need is a metal tape measure, a pen or pencil, a drill and a ‘phillips’ cross-head screwdriver. If you have ordered a pole you will also need a hacksaw. It doesn’t hurt to have some Polyfilla to hand, but hopefully it’ll go straight back in the cupboard. If you don’t feel confident putting them up yourself, you can get a quote for professional installation from our wonderful partners at Plentific.
To put it simply, you can either do it yourself or you can hire someone to do it!
Stitched Roman blinds and Roller blinds are supplied with the cassette manufacturer's’ installation instructions. You can follow these, and in no time your blinds will be up and looking fab. Poles ordered through Stitched are also supplied with the pole manufacturer’s installation instructions. If you are in any doubt on installation, we recommend you seek the help of a professional tradesman.

Stitched has teamed up with Plentific to help you book installation professionals to install your Stitched curtains and blinds. If you would like to book an installation professional to fit your curtains and blinds, simply tick the "Installation quote" box at the checkout.
Stitched will send your name, delivery address, email address, contact telephone number and the details of your order to Plentific who will register you for an account and request quotes from their network of trade professionals. Through Plentific’s dashboard you can manage quotes, message professionals, book installation of your curtains and blinds and make safe payments. Sometimes Plentific may not be able to find a curtain and blind fitter in your area. If this happens, please contact us on our Live Chat and we may be able to help you.
Once you have ticked the "Installation quote" box and checked out, Stitched will send your details to Plentific. Plentific will send you an email with login details to the Plentific dashboard from which you will receive quotes from "Pros" registered with Plentific. Once logged in, you can review "Pros" profiles (including other customers' reviews), message "Pros", chat to the team at Plentific, arrange your installation date, accept quotes and make payments.
Curtain and blind fitting can be complicated, depending on the windows you are covering, the way your house was built and the age of the building. Whilst all bookings of "Verified Pros" made through Plentific benefit from an insurance backed guarantee, the quality of fitters varies, so we strongly advise that you:
1. Check that your details are correct: When you select “Get Installation Quotes” we send your name, delivery address, email address, contact telephone number and the details of your order to Plentific, so that they can seek quotes on your behalf, please check that these are correct.
2. Use "Verified Pros": By using a "Verified Pro" you will benefit from the "Plentific Guarantee" which will protect any deposit payment made and ensure that your installation is completed
3. Clearly describe your job: Make sure you provide "Verified Pros" as much information as possible about your installation, including any potential difficulties (e.g. if you have old plaster where your curtain pole will be installed)
4. Discuss experience: Confirm with your "Verified Pro" on your messaging board that he/she has specific experience installing curtains and blinds similar to your job
5. Check customer reviews: Whilst Plentific checks things like: "Verified Pros" are who they say they are, public liability insurance cover, online reputation and customer reviews, your installation contract is with the "Verified Pro", so make sure you are comfortable with your choice.
6. Cosmetic touch-ups: It is common when installing curtains and blinds for minor cosmetic damage to be caused. “Pros” will do their best to minimise cosmetic damage, however it is advisable to keep a small pot of paint the same colour as your walls to touch up any marks etc.
If you are unsure about booking a "Pro" we recommend you contact Plentific directly for assistance on their Live Chat (they are very helpful).
Minimal care and cleaning is needed to keep your curtains and blinds looking great. We recommend periodically cleaning your curtains and blinds using a vacuum cleaner on a low suction, or dust with a soft, clean cloth or feather duster. Do not clean your curtains or blinds with liquid of any type, this may mark and stain them. Longer term, we would recommend you professionally dry clean your curtains and blinds every 5 years.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we can’t take your old curtains away for you (although it is something that we are working on!) If your curtains/blinds are in good working condition, we would encourage you to donate them to a local charity. If you are unable to do this, your local council may be able to collect them for recycling (to avoid going into landfill)

Unfortunately the chains will give occasionally. By legislation they have to give at 6kg so a heavy tug on a heavy blind can break them - if this happens, contact us on Web Chat and we can give you the instructions to fix it!
