Toxin Free Blackout Bedroom Curtains

How do we achieve toxin-free blackout curtains? We line your made to measure curtains with our standard 100% cotton lining, then in-between this and your chosen fabric, we add a second layer of black lining that is also 100% cotton. This results in a pair of curtains that are still beautifully full as they are double lined, with the added benefit of 80-90% blackout without the toxins. Is the face fabric also toxin free? As a rule, we avoid polyester fabrics for our made to measure curtains unless they are recycled materials. We much prefer natural fabrics as they are better for the planet and create made to measure curtains that look and feel more considered. If you choose one of our natural fabrics and this alternative blackout solution, you can be sure your blackout bedroom curtains are completely toxin free and safe for your home. You will have to compromise on the 100% blackout our standard blackout lining offers, but if the VOCs free product is more important to you and your home, we think it’s a compromise worth making.
