Our Eco Fabrics
We have carefully selected a range of 300+ sustainable fabrics, each with its own colour, texture and eco story. Our curtains and blinds are all custom and made to measure in UK workshops with over 100 years experience between them. We now have 27 different fabric collections, including wool, cotton, linen, velvet and even recycled plastic! Using our handy 3D tool, you can design your perfect pair of custom curtains and get an instant quote. All our fabrics are available in custom roman blinds and curtains in all lining types. We call our fabrics ‘feel good fabrics’ because not only do they look great, they have a neutral impact on the environment. Our curtains are all custom made so you can create something that is perfect for you. Here is everything you need to know about our custom curtains…
Curtain Lining
Lining is the fabric added to the back of your curtain. We have five different types of lining - lined, blackout lined, interlined, interlined blackout and thermal lined. Alternatively, you can also have your curtain unlined.
Pooling
Pooling describes the amount of fabric that sits on the floor at the bottom of your curtains. We have three different types of pooling - just touching, normal pooling and generous pooling.
Heading Styles
The heading style is the way in which the curtain is gathered at the top. It determines how the curtain will hang and has a huge impact on the look and style. Our curtains are available with seven different heading types - pencil pleat, double pleat, triple pleat, eyelet, wave, goblet and cartridge. See the different styles and how they hang below.
Stackback
Stackback is the amount of fabric your curtains have on either side of your window when they are open. The type of heading you choose will impact the amount of stackback you have and it will dictate the length of the curtain pole or track, so your curtains don’t block any light when they are open.

Poles and Tracks
Our poles and tracks are all made to measure and delivered for free. Our poles are available in metal and wood in a number of finishes and widths. Our tracks are metal and available in white, ash and slate.
